Here's some figures I finished recently. Gladiators from Urban War and Junkers from Void.

I've never played any of the games these were intended for, but they've seen action using the WarEngine rules using "The Orgs" force list.

Except for the buggy, all paint jobs are block painted, brush dipped with Minwax polyshades Antique Walnut and matte sprayed. Eyes and and some drybrushed hair are done after the dip and spray.

Void Junker's figures. Still available from Scotia Grendel. These older sculpts hold up quite well.

Desert scavenger

Scavenger crew. Meant to be glued in, I put them on small 20mm bases instead so they can fit on the vehicle or on their own.

Sandrunners. All have added Hasslefree "Grymn SMGs" for pistols

Leader and Enforcers on Sandrunners. The leader figure is actualy Maximilian Helghast from the Warzone game. I shaved off some details and gave him a new head and sword (Chaos marine bits with lots of detail filed off).

Gladiators. A Junker's sub-set in most recent UrbanWar/Metropolis incarnation of the Void Universe. They are all from a Boxed 300point pack that is no longer offered.

Pit Beast

ExoSuit and Myrmillo Flamethrower

Grenadiers (removed one grenade from each and replaced with a gun)

Two Gladiators. Set came with doubles of this pose. Right is stock, left is modified

More Gladiators

Overall, I'm happy with how they turned out. Most times these figs have red as the accent color, but orange came out quite well. Also I'm pleased with grey as the bodysuit color for the junkers rather than the usual black. I've got another sandrunner squad, some characthers and 20 more ground troops left to paint, though that will not be for a while.

Thanks for sharing the pictures, I love the Void and Urban Mammoth figures. I hope the ranges get more exposure so they don't disappear. I love what you've done with yours.

Having seen these guys in person, I can attest to their coolness. Nice job Karl!

Very cool. Always loved the look of the Void/Urban War minis.

Very nice. I love the common color scheme for all your figures. While I would not ordinarily choose orange, it works well with the bronze metal and brown leather colors. Great job!

Thanks for the kudos folks, glad you all enjoyed them.

I remember thinking the Junkers were really cool back when they first came out, but I never got around to buying them. PatrickWR gave me a box of Gladiators, and I came across a few great deals on Junkers and here we are.

Orange (Delta Ceramcoat Tangerine to be precise) was a bit of a risk, but I figured the dip would warm it up and it worked quite nicely. It's got me considering other ways of incorporating bright colors into my sci-fi armies.

That's some awsome work Ordinarybass! The Junkers and Gladiators are probably the most characterful models in the Void / UW line. I've really enjoyed painting them myself now that I got around to them.

Here's my collection of Void / UW models.
