Looking for something to move my USMC around in the polar regions, and Ice Station by Matt Reilly got me thinking about LCACs.

I know Matchbox and Dinky made some, but a little too small for 28mm.

Anything close I might use?

I did search for earlier threads, but the most recent discussion on 28mm was from 6 years ago, so I figured things may have changed.

Too scifi for my needs. I'm after something more real world, if I can find it.

think you are looking at a scratchbuild project there…

Poi00003 Aug 2011 4:27 a.m. PST

That's my worry.

Largest LCAC I can think of is 1/100 or 1/144. Not much use to you I'm afraid. Corgi did a diecast toy hovercraft that appears on ebay every now and then but even that would still be way to small. I suspect scratchbuilding is your only option.
