Pretty straightforward question, with absolutely no gaming implications:

1) Front Pocket
2) Rear Pocket

8) Hands (always texting, talking, etc)
9) Don't carry a cell phone

If I told you, I'd have to kill you !

It was 3, till it fell apart, now it's 1 (annoying too, I have 2 cell phones and one of them is always going into a picture taking mode, I've got about 1 million pictures of my pocket.)

Holsters fall off my belt. I nearly lost my cell that way.

1 and thats why the screen is cracked (since Feb) and I'm not due for another free one till Nov.

I hate putting crap in my pockets, so it, along with my wallet, is usually in my left hand. Or I leave it in the vehicle. If on the bike it rides in a chest pocket on my leather jacket. I don't text and rarely talk on it so having it my hand has nothing to do with that.

When driving I like to put it on vibrate and hold it between my legs in case I get a call. It feels nice….

What? You all don't do that?

For general walking around, shirt pocket. While exercising, the sport-band and anything else the counter, car, whatever.

Front left pocket.

Shirt pocket. If I am wearing something that does not have a shirt pocket I usually don't wont the damn thing with me.

Not a cell phone junkie.

Well, today I've left it on my desk at work…

Ace – best place for it – someone wants me, they can call whenI am at my desk.

It would be really annoying to try and fit it in my pants pocket. Plus this way, it is just like being back in the Old West.

In a drawer in a closet. There's still no cell phone service within about three miles of my house, although it's getting closer.

We're not supposed to have cell phones on the floor at work (factory). If I'm not home and I'm not at work, I don't want to be reachable.

Right now, 5. Sometimes, 1.

3 pretty much always – it is an iPhone, so the screen cracks if you look at it hard – I keep in a holster with enough padding that it almost as durable as my old Blackberry (which was a tank)

Front right pocket. My keys are in the front left, where all the others who have expressed a preference seem to keep theirs.

Actually, it's not that straightforward a question, not without an "it depends" option, anyway.

#5, in a briefcase (and turned off) when at home, at work, or going to work.

#6, in the car, when driving home from the park-and-ride during the week, and while driving on weekends.

#1, left front pants pocket, while on the bus to the park-and-ride after work, and while out of my car running errands.

#11 (I made that up), seat bag, while on my bicycle. Turned off unless I'm expecting a call. Nothing ticks me off like having a ride interrupted only to discover that Ernesto has another "important business message".

When dressed casually I go for cargo pants with a leg pocket for the phone. Otherwise in jacket or on my desk

Front pocket (for some dumb reason, I put my keys and/or phone in either pocket), unless I am wearing a jacket.

Cargo pocket in my khaki shorts or phone case with my pants.

Mine is lost.

Usually, I leave it at home. If I carry it it goes in the right shirt pocket.

Rats, I forgot about jackets. So, when I'm wearing a jacket, the 'phone goes in one of the pockets instead of #1. That makes five different places for me.

1, most of the time. If I'm in the kayak, left pocket of my shirt, buttoned down, if I'm in uniform, and left in the car if I'm not.
