Mostly after sizes and or images of:

Bet you don't even know what scif-fi is!

Something you have to scrape off the bottom of your boat every Spring?

I looked, but I didn't see any in the collection at the apartment. The Roommate has a HUGE collection of Adler stuff (although I can't find one box of it. Maybe he has some of them in there).

Ok. Can't help with all but here is what I have:

Top row right to left:

FD6, FD5, FD24, FD21

Bottom row right to left for scale:
H&R Soviets, Baccus Cataphract, H&R 152mm SPG, GZG APC, GZG troops

However, looking at the Adler gallery it seems they may have been quite flexible with what turret type goes with what model! The FD 21, 22 and 23 are all the same size chassis.

Hope that helps a little. I'm hoping to pop along to Under the Bed within the next weeks as well so may get some of their 'bigger' stuff as well.

Cheers

Andy

Looks nice, but a little small… that said these days there's a strong tendency to make big vehicles.

Looks pretty good !!

I love Adler SF vehicles and infantry, but sadly Stone Mountain Miniatures(U.S. vender)doesn't carry the whole range…including the new vehicles. Which is a sad thing, SMM's prices are somehow better than Adler's.

Those are the Roommate's Adler stuff.

He needs to take some better photos of them, as they look better in person than that.

And, he has some other Adler stuff that needs to be finished (Several converted Artillery Vehicles and Air-Defense vehicles, and several of the Grav-Jeeps … Or whatever you call their little Grav-car things). And he has a MOUNTAIN of GW Epic Imperial Guard (12 infantry platoons of 4 squads of 3 fire teams of four, with a Weapon's Team and HQ stand for each platoon, 1 Artillery Battalion (with converted Artillery… Oh… Photo of one of the guns and another of the Mortars:

I think he has one battery of the Guns, and Three of the Mortars), and a bazillion little vehicles and what looks to be about $1,000 worth of Forgeworld Valkyries and Air Defense Artillery. Those aren't painted yet). He says "I have some of the new Adler Stuff, but it isn't ready to be painted yet."

The "new" (It's all new to me) Venturian stuff looks better than the – what do they call them, Federation??? – Federation stuff.

Alas, it will be many months before I can buy anything. I have already blown my budget on Thunderbolt Mountain Orcs (And Elves).

They look good alongside the GZG infantry, to my eye. And the Grav armour would look splendid alongside Renegade Legion items as a third force :)

Might finally invest in the wheeled vehicles . . .

I think they match up quite well size-wise, with many offerings on the market.

LOL – Alex Reed, you're telling us that your 'roommate' is Judas Iscariot, Cog Comp, Matt Bailey, Saint Siccari, etc.

Welcome back!

Alex Reed23 Jul 2011 10:43 p.m. PST

Yes… He is my roommate, and how I heard about this place. We are currently in the process of moving into a suite at UCLA (between going back to Oakland and San Francisco to get stuff), where I am doing a Cybernetics Degree, and he is doing… something with Brains.

He seems, hmmm.

He seems Very angry about TMP. Actually, he seems angry about nearly everything. I wouldn't be surprised looking at his back and legs (something horrible happened to him).

He gave me a lot of minis and got me into gaming about a year and a half ago, where I met him in an Engineering class at City College in San Francisco…

And, no need to welcome me "back" This will be my first time here. So… Yes, I am telling you that he is my roommate. Do I need to post a photo?

Mutant Q24 Jul 2011 10:10 p.m. PST

I've always liked Adler's SF stuff. I just wish they were easier to get. That and 15mm versions would be nice too

Angel Barracks27 Jul 2011 4:29 a.m. PST

Well I have had some Adler 6mm tanks arrive in the post in an unmarked envelope.
They are a very good size, much bigger than many others 6mm tanks.

To whoever sent them, thank you very much.

Cheers Leon.

I think they are just the ticket.
It will be a while before they are painted though, much on at the moment.
But they are nice and big and will be given the tour of the internet once done.

Then once that is done, I need to work out how many more will be needed!
