I have a soft spot in my heart for Magic: the Gathering. Elmo had many hours of fun with betas and moxes. Anyway, I have been waiting for Wizards to do an iPhone Magic game. Let me tell you that Kard Combat comes close. It's not a copy of magic but is co-created by Richard Garfield and has many similarities: Mana, summoning, life, battling, etc. The computer is also used to manage some card effects that would be hard to manage by hand. The only thing missing is collectible cards (which is fine by me) and deck construction which I would like to see. If you want a magic like game on your iOS device, get Kard Combat.
