I've finished my collection for the Battle of Cowpens for our Skirmish Game Day 2011 in Plano,Texas. Started painting them in mid-May. Finished a couple of days ago. This has been a fun summer painting project. Here's the Photobucket link-Enjoy

Very nice indeed! Can you get buildings, trees etc, in that scale or do you have to scratch build?

See the terrain section. I know they make buildings, fences, etc. And if you have any questions about gaming in 54mm, I'm sure Ken at ATKM will be happy to help. you can also download free rules.

Nice job, especially on the Militia. You may want to look into AIP AWI Cavalry which are much more "action" oriented poses. A couple of old Marx poses wouldn't hurt either. You can get them in reproduction cheap.

Thanks to all…appreciate the compliments. Nevinsrip, I looked at AIP stuff but didn't buy any because I've not seen any painted. Do you have any of these figures? Do you have any pics I can see please?

Nicely done. Clean and crisp paint job.

I have some painted American Revolution miniatures on my blog by AIP from a game a friend hosted.

Micely done…I saw some of the figures I painted "in there". I like those Highlanders but won't paint plaid again after painting that officer… LOL

Awesome work, Steve! I love your technique for shading and "weathering." These armies look great and will surely wow the Texas crowd. Also, thanks to Steve at AoG for the mention.

This is the first time I've seen 54's that I thought were well painted (lots that were neatly painted but not "living"). Good job. And inspirational in reminding me I have a ton of revolution figures to work on.
