I decided to get my Late Romans back into shape, and want to get some distinctive terrain for them. Anyone make buildings for this period? Specifically Roman style? I saw that Magister Militum had one, what else is out there?

Damon.

Grand Manner have a few pieces.

Not cheap, but very nice.

A second vote for Grand Manner buildings. Also, take a look at pet supply stores for things like Greek and Roman ruins for fish acquariums. I got a couple nice pieces from Petco.

You might also consider some of the building from Miniature Building Authority. Our "Spanish Main" series includes some pieces that would look right at home.

Hmm, more pics from Black Cat and Scheltrum would help.

Its not clear if the Black Cat buildings are in production, or just "ghosts?"

Any word about Black Cat Greek/Roman 28mm buildings actually going into "production?"

At SALUTE, maybe??? money

From Black Cat… in reply to an email query I sent them:

Sorry, most of the Little Green Man has been removed from sale, the moulds are not in good condition and the castings are not up to standard. They will probably eventually make their way back into production but not in the near future, they are very slow selling ranges and the remoulding costs for buildings are very expensive.

Thanks for your interest.

Jo

Sigh… huh?
