Have you seen that post from him with the Dwarves? seriously does it get better than that?

DocMagus14 Jul 2011 6:19 a.m. PST

I'm with cfielitz

Who is Tango, an expose on his life and gaming interests could be very interesting…or not!

That's why I have the power to click or not click on one of his topics. Like many above, he has shown me some things I would have never found on my own, and others than died after reading the first few words in the paragraph.

Keep at it Tango!

Doc

Personally, I think he's trying to catch up to the OFM

Personally I think he is OFM, or one of a dozen well known people here who find it amusing to try and annoy people another way.

I don't read his posts but I also don't stifle him(or anybody) Honestly his posts are just background clutter that I never bother to even think about.

He's not Barry Edwards is he?

That would suck….

Are you trying to say that Tango01 is Big Mean Elf??? laugh

While at first I was a tad annoyed that he would just post links, but then I got used to it.

The only think that bugs me now is that he posts foreign blogs. During the day, I cannot use a translator, nor look at blog sites. I have to wait til the evening, and then by that time, I have forgotten all about his link. frown

I appreciate his links.

Adelante, Armand.

I concur with the OFM, and most of the rest of the posters. Tango unearths some very interesting stuff, items I'm very unlikely to have discovered by myself.

You can't be more wrong. I know Armand (Raul is his actual name) and he's just an enthusiastic wargamer. There are not many wargamers in Argentina, and TMP is one of the few venues where he can share his hobby with fellow-minded people. He's not a troll, nor a BME avatar. Just a regular, nice fellow that thinks he can share an interest with other TMPrs.

With threads like this I don't know if feeling annoyed or amused.

I appreciate the opportunities that he posts for me to enjoy. Thanks, Tango.

A guy runs around the internet for you finding all sorts of cool sites and you wonder if he isnt part of a neofascist communist christian/islamicist conspiracy to do something awful.

If there is something dreadful about the links that I am missing – move on, dont click, nothing here for you.

Bravo Armand, even if I do find some of your links uninteresting, you give me a lot more to look at and think about than typing "Wargames" into google and clicking!

I hope the poor guy hasn't been scared off.

Some of his posts are interesting and useful.

Tango is a veteran of the Falklands War.

He has huge collections of "imagination"-type plastic figures (1/72) & games incredibly intricate & long lasting (months) solo games. He has sent me photos of his gaming.

I think he kinda lives for his internet connections here & elsewhere.

basileus66 -
Not the first or last time I've been wrong.

I like sources of inspiration as much as the next guy… Well CC has me beat but I'd rather see some of Tangos own works posted than him spamming the site with links. But he doesn't post for my benefit so it really doesn't matter my opinion on it.

beer Here is to hoping his paint never dries out!
