These old rules for The Greek War of Independence, and I was wondering if anyone has a copy that they would be prepared to sell me…?

I played some GWI games with a couple of huys from the Army of Central Maryland Group (Matt & George). We used a simple set that was similar to DBx but with multiple element units. Can't recall if this was Freedom or Death, but I am inclined to believe it was.

I ask again has anyone got a copy of these rules they would be prepared to sell..?

Still hunting for a set, or if somekne has one and can give me base sizes and one of the scenario breakdowns?

KTravlos08 Mar 2014 11:25 a.m. PST

Man, I am really sorry. If you ask this when I am in Greece for my breaks I would happily look in the old game stores if they are available.

As an aside if you really want to play skirmish level games, I would suggest adapting Paddy Griffiths skirmish level Napoleonic Game to the Greek Revolution.

You might even be able to adapt the Brigade game. Very few battles were larger than that.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Saw your posts today about gaming GWI and Freedom or Death. I game the period in 15mm with the Alphacast minis and use the Freedom or Death rules. I can't sell you my only copy, but would be glad to share info. If you like, I could send you copies of the basing info and 1-2 scenarios for instance.
