I want to rebase/debase whatever ….some Clix. I was just going to use a razor to scrap them off. Is the the best way?

I have had success when I put them in the freezer for 45 minutes or so. I found that the cold will make the glue more brittle.

Most of the time I can then snap them off with light pressure from a screwdriver. The stubborn ones may require the knife.

Freezer and a butter knife works well.

I just use a sharp knife

All of the above and sometimes pliers

I did it to 2 Horrorclix figures. All it took was a small screwdriver. I looks like they were glued with something like rubber cement.

Give that debase is to "Reduce (something) in quality or value" are you sure you want to do it?

For me I have never got the freezer trick to work so a knife is my preferred method (before chainsaw that is).

I use a sharp thin blade, place it at the smallest/thin part of the foot. angle the blade down twards the blade and push down while holding the miniature in a solid surface..

I use a dull Xacto with the tip broken off…similar to mrwigglesworth's butter knife. I don't bother with the freezer, however when meeting difficulties, I switch to a sharp knife.

How about "unbase," then?

removing a clicky base also removes the rareness rating of the figure so debasing is actually correct in this case :P
