Has anyone had dealings with this company? I do not know about them and any information will help. |

Ordered some roads from them recently. They tend to be very slow shipping, sometimes a couple of months, but the product was well worth it. Just decide how long you can wait before ordering from them. Jeff |

I just ordered a mat from them. If you don't mind waiting as it can take a while

It's a long time since I ordered from them, but as I remember I had no problems at all (especially considering it was trans-atlantic delivery, and the product (mats) were well worth it |

I've ordered several mats from them. Never a problem, and the mats are worth the wait! |

I've ordered two mats in the past. I received them within a month, which is fine by me, given they were made to order and shipped from Canada. Most importantly, the mats are fantastic. |

Good product if your willing to wait a long time for it. |

Great product, slow service since they are made-to-order. I would not hesitate to order from them again, though! If you need more info on them, just run a search here on TMP and you will find LOTS of threads on them. |

I ordered a mat from them a while back, and it took almost 4 months for me to get it. No communications. No answers. It was very frustrating. Nice mat, not worth the wait. I moved over to Cor Sec Designs for mats. I like them better anyway, IMO
Lot more expensive though.

I finally broke down an ordered one this year. Based on the past threads here, I was prepared for the long wait. I was not prepared for the quality of the product, though. The artwork was shoddy, and despite being a double-sided mat, had bled through to the other side. I wouldn't buy from him again. |

I own several mats from Hotz Mats. Well worth the wait, I wouldn't hesitate to order another mat from him. |

His products are so good that I have replaced all my other mats with Hotz mats. Worth the wait which is due to the tremendous backlog of orders. He's a great guy in person & I'm sure more than willing to make right if there is a problem. |

I ordered four mats from him some time ago. No problems with quality, no problems with delivery (about three weeks, I think). A pleasure to deal with. Mollinary |

I have been waiting 10 weeks fro my order. No response to three emails so far. Very disappointed. |

Placed an order at the end of May and got it a few days ago. Not too bad considering the postal strike and unexpected sales increase they are reporting. |

Got a response and an undertaking to re-send my order. Happy with that. Cheers Craig |

I'm afraid to report yet more problems with Hotz Artworks. I placed an order on 29 August. After waiting the full 5 weeks, there was no delivery. I emailed on 3 October; no reply. Another email on 7 October; no reply. Another email on 13 October, which did receive a reply, confirming the product would be posted on 17 October. I received an email on 18 October confirming the product had been shipped and that I would receive it within a maxmium 10 days. As of 31 October, the product had still not arrived, and I therefore sent an email requesting a refund. No reply. I have read carefully the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act SBC 2004 and it is clear that Hotz Artworks are in breach of the law, both in this case, and in many of the others reported here. I will now be pursuing legal action, and also raising a dispute via Paypal. I'm sorry if this all sounds very heavy-handed. I purchase products from all over the World and fully appreciate that many businesses are part-time garden shed operations, and that there are often production and postal problems that cause the odd delay. I try to be as amicable and understanding as possible. But ultimately, I am a consumer, and Hotz Artworks is a business. There are certain standards both parties should expect and I believe, both morally and legally, Hotz Artworks have fallen well short of those standards. The biggest issue for me has been the lack of communication from Hotz Artworks. I'd even go so far as to say – against what some people on here have said – that I have not found the owner to be friendly at any point. He has offered no apology to the delays, and when I politely pointed this out to him in that rare moment of communication in mid-October, I received an email complaining about how he struggles to stay on top of 120+ emails per day. Hardly service to be proud of. I will write an update for you all when the legal action has been concluded. Again, sorry if this all sounds heavy handed. I would have dearly loved to have owned one of the mats – they look brilliant and are good value for money. But I'm not prepared to wait indefinitely and without the common courtesy of an update. |

Oh great, I placed an order for some rivers recently and now I could be waiting months for them? I don't need them immediately but it would be nice to get them promptly. |
