I agree with what you said about the 2/5 factors,I noticed it too. I still allow it for my Elves,though,because they are the caped Crusaders of the fantasy world.

Yes, some figures demand it, and if the baseline is set lower they stand out more, which is what you want. Andrea commented on the Yahoo group that they plan to do this with the revision.

Interesting. I had a similar experience playing with low Rep (Quality equivalent) figures in Two Hour Wargames "Red Sand Blue sky" gladiator rules… its more fun playing with the low baseline figures, they are real heroes when they do succeed but they don't do it very much.

I can't say yet how the lower ones play, but in future I'll think of the higher ones as veterans or exceptional rather than just good quality. It will change how I imagine what's happening.
