guys have a number of 1/3000 (not a typo)scale aircraft and would like to know how to paint the canopies ,if i paint them by hand canopies will look messy and different on every plane, or does one use a paper jig with hole cut out in shape of canopy placed on top of model and paint through it |

what about a dot of very light blue, it should do the trick at this scale. I'd paint them dark blue then add a the very light blue dot |

>>Can you even see the model at 3 feet away?<< That's why I've been a 1,200/1,1250 naval gamer for more decades that I'll admit. A friend tried (very hard) to persuade me into 1,2400 when GHQ first starting producing them. I couldn't correctly identify a ship class from gun range, never mind an aircraft. I paint any such things gloss black. The result never ceases to look good. |
