According to the plates I've seen (specifically Johann Cutler) the Bavarian Kreis battalions wore shakos instead of the plumed helmets of the line battalions. What 25/28mm figures would best represent these? Preferably I'd like to find something that hangs together with the HaT plastics if at all possible.

and if it is right I would use these figures from hat at least
the emblem is covered on the shako and you can just clip the
top down to a pompom.

Aren't HaT on the verge of releasing Austrians? "German" infantry in shakos would be a good match, albeit wearing gaiters rather than trousers, especially the prominent national cockade (the oak-leaf field sign could be trimmmed down to provide the pom-pom). Your only problem would be the officers, who had gorgets instead of sashes like the Austrians.

Brock, those wouldn't be too far off except that they don't have the Nassau in 25/28 yet.

Supercilius, the late Austrian-Germans could work, when they get released.

Thanks for the tips!

You want both sizes 25mm which is above in Nassau and 28mm
which you would be correct they aren't our yet in this
range. So you want both correct.

If SM is Talking about the Grenzers then they have been in
circulation for months, I had purchased some months ago and
these might be better to use in 25mm only.
