Hi Do any of you know if there is something happened to him? I have send a email because I wanted some mats. He replied that he would send a pay pal invoice. I never heard from him again and I have tried to get in contact with him several times on his mail since. No reply. Claus |

It's not just you. I have sent an email a month ago to order some green planet mats and never get the paypal invoice. I have also sent a couple of emails and got no reply either. |

One of the reasons why I haven't bought Roman Seas is because he promised a rules clarification over a year ago and still hasn't given one. |

I bought one a long while ago, and even back then it took almost 4 months for me to get it. While the mats were nice, "Never again" is what I thought. I prefer Cor Sec Eng for mats
Faster and well done! While pricey, they are the best mats out there. IMO

I just got a mat from him earlier this month. The turn-around time was approx. 5 weeks. His communications is not always the best, but he's never failed to deliver on any of my orders yet, and I've made at least four of them in the last couple of years. |

I just received a 2 sided space mat from Hotz 2 weeks ago. Initial emails and pay-pal invoice 1st week of May, received 2 weeks ago – so total turnaround about 5-6 weeks for special order mat (stars etc on both sides – 2"hexes on one only). Also ordered 2 mats several years ago to play CY6, no problems then, either. I must have been lucky

I got one in about four weeks. Totally happy as it is a beautiful gaming mat. After earlier TMP threads I was mentally prepared for a long wait. I felt four weeks was quick and I am very satisfied. Plan ahead. Mike |

We are swamped with orders at this time. The months of April and May broke all our previous sales records. As a result, we are getting caught up with orders. We also had a problem with felt quality from our supplier and were forced to recently return a shipment -- this us caused unnecessary delays. Communication can be slow because I work in my studio up to 14 hours a day and cannot devote 100% of my time with emails. I wish I could, but my limit is 3 hours a day emailing people, otherwise I do not get any physical work done. It is a problem of our age, and a problem a number of my writer friends fret about almost daily. If you send me a private TMP message, I will better be able to respond to your questions. We receive about 60 emails a day, mostly from people requesting quotes and asking questions about custom made game mats. It is not easy to keep track of every email, but we try. Some quotes/questions are very redundant and because of this, we do sometimes assume we have responded to customer's email. However, we do sometimes miss questions/emails. Please keep in mind that we make custom game mats. We are the only company that produces game mats this way and we also create more varieties of game mats than any other manufacturer on the planet. At last count, we make over 400 different game mats, all of which are hand produced, one at a time. This can take extra time. |

Haha your statement about 400 different game mats made me actually count mine. Right now I only come in at 176 possible selections. We take custom orders for anything really but I'm sure you have done a few yourself like that in the past. I hope to almost double that by the end of summer. Depends on how many prototypes come back looking good from the next batch.
