Whats your favorite historical period of Chinese history to re-create on the war-gaming table:
link

For the sake of the Poll, I'll include two "non-historical"
options as follows:

1) "Near-future", to mean battles taking place after 2011 on Earth against other human based opponents.

2) "Distant-Future/ Space-faring", ie. battles in the far future, in space, or potentially against alien races, etc…

Tops for me:
1) Ming vrs Japanese 1593-98
2) Near-Future vrs Islamic Insurgents & Russian Federation,
3) Current Day PLA
4) Later Tang (vrs. 3 Kingdoms Korean & Islamic expansion)
5) Warring States Period.

Boxer Rebellion, Sino French, and Sino Japanese wars in the 1800s. I would particularly like to do some of the naval battles. I am also working on both historical and VSF scenarios for the Boxer Rebellion.
