I don't have the instructions for it.

If you ever find out let us know. My fear is that it's probably an investment of $187.00 USD in Lego pieces.

Probably.

Unless you find them at a garage sale.

Pictors, pretty cool. I'm with you guys on that it's probably not cheap to construct one of those, however.

One of the recent threads here about the number of dice we all collect got me thinking about dice towers too. A couple of the posters said they had tons of the old "dragon dice" and didn't know what to do with them. What about making a dice tower out of them? Here's one example of using dice to make a dice tower:

If you don't have enough extra old dice to construct one entirely from dice, what about building it out of plastic, wood, foamcore, etc. and just using the dice for the "skin" or other ornamental elements of the tower?

My fear is that my son would notice I "borrowed" some of his Lego Bricks…

Yes, that thing can't cheap to make, but the mechanism & look is cool. It probaby wouldn't be too hard to design a working one like that out of materials other than legos.

But why?
It's cool BECAUSE it is made of Legos

Lego, not Legos

Why do you need to 'tow' dice?
