Nice review. The infantry gun is OK as supplied, though. The photo you have of a real one is the pre-war version, while the gun supplied in the box is the late-war version, where they literally did mount the 76mm barrel on a 45mm carriage. So both versions are plausible. |

What Mark said; you're looking at the 76mm M1927, while the PSC model is the late war 76mm M1943 infantry gun, and entirely correct. link |

Actually, unless it provides you with motorcycle type wheels it doesn't really allow you to make the pre-war version but hey, near enough is close enough. |

Interesting point there, as the 45mm M 1937 (ie. the shorter barrel) was certainly used with the disc wheels as well as the spoked ones (even a quick Google turns up several photos) but I've no idea when from
. (Or indeed if the disc wheels were retro-fitted; unlikely I'd guess, but possible
.). Given that, the PSC model's correct for all three versions, but doesn't quite cover all options for sub-types as it were. |
