in the "May 2011" folder in your photobucket site? link I was looking through them for inspiration, as I occasionally do ;) and I wonder if they are 1/200 or 1/300. The castings look really smooth for a small scale
unless you sand them a little or something
Are the Gladiators Raiden's? Rolando |

Hi Rolando, those are all 1/200 scale. The Vals, Kate, Wildcats, Dauntless dive bombers, and Do-17s are resin minis from Armaments in Miniature (AIM) link . The Mig-3s, Yak-9s, Spits, P-40s, P-39s, Hurries, and Gladiators are metal Noble Miniatures Air200 link . Both have some pretty nice/fine details on them. Spread out around my hobby area I've got some partially finished 1/200 AIM Boulton Paul Defiants, Douglas Devastators, Buffaloes, P-39, Hurricane, Spitfire, and more Vals. I hope to get some work done on them in the next week or so. Kevin |

Rolando- I have a bunch of 1/200 scale jets from AIM and they are very excellent. |

Thanks guys. The planes sure are well crafted. And beautifully-painted models, miscmini. But I'm very happy with the 1/285 and 1/300 scale. It has the perfect balance of detail and small size for more hexes. And price! (Except for GHQ, of course
) Plus TOO MANY years invested in painting to change now, even if I wanted to :) Rolando |
