So here is a peek at the new logo. I may still mess with, and maybe add some things, but this is pretty much how it is going to look. link What color do you guys like?

Joe
there is a lot of black going on there :( I know that is the idea, but, perhaps try a dark gray or a smokey haze background to lay the logo over? Make the black pop rather than become a bit muddy? |

I like the yellow, but that being said a Green might work as well

It looks more yellow than green to me
Hey Joe how about a bright clean green? |

I think the orange isn't bad, green second. |

Absolutely the green/yellow, Definitely not the purple, and the red is pretty awful as well. You want a logo to be distinct. You might also want to increase the amount of light background (yellow/green) at the top and sides. That'll help it being legible when you show the logo on smaller scales. (You can easily have to different versions, one with less background and one, for smaller print, with more.) They all seem too black for me, but I suppose it goes with the name. But the black looks blacker if you set it against a light background. |

Agree with Hendrix. Part of the problem is the "shinieness" of the black – the highlights make it difficult to read. Too much Matrix latex going on. |

The design itself is very reminiscent of the title page from the old "The Munsters" TV show. It also reminds me a lot of the text used by Elvira on most of her stuff. Because of this my first impression of it was cheesy horror
which is fine if that is what you are after, but I don't think it is. I would suggest that you put that aside for today. Tomorrow, make a new logo
and the day after that too. After a few days if you haven't had a shocking inspiration line them all up and compare them. This is the 1 man simulation of having a design team were each person puts forth an idea and they feed each other until something good comes out. |

Thanks gang. Paintbeast that is why I am showing it 5 months before I release the game.
I am a better than average sculptor, but graphics and websites are not my strong suite. Intelligent Opinions help me, when they come from the "Quality People, The Sci-Horror TMP Brotherhood".

While I am not a good logo designer myself, my advice is to make it simple and contrasty (is that a word) enough that it can be told at a small size (think web page catalog) especially if you are going to sell the rules in a digital format. Like it is now, if the site has a bright background it will stand out, but if it is dark it will be lost. I like the font. This is post apoc with horror overtones, right? ganeshagames.net |
