In order to complement the (hard to find) Eureka 'Sandra' range link ).
Inspiration: picture from link (scroll down a little).
ECW, but a similar conversion can surely be done using the 'WSS generic infantry'.
By the mid-18th C. even Guards would not wear a cuirass, but a soubreveste link picture picture explaining the smothness/ lack of opening / buttons / lace… on the breast.
If deterred by the difficulty of free hand painting the decoration of the soubreveste (don't forget the back!), decals for 10-15mm Ancient shields ([Late] Romans e.g.) could do most of the work for you; or simply 'Iron Cross' decals for WW1 & modern German aircrafts could provide a basis of / guide to the painting.
To add a tricorne as a final touch does not seem very difficult:

[X-posted on the 'Australian' board in the hope of 'stimulating' Eureka :) ]

I hope the idea of getting Nic and the lads stimulated works – I would love to add a female unit to my Imagination

I would imagine that if you asked Nic for some of the Sandra figures that he would cast them and sell them to you. Eureka has a lot of items that are not listed on their web site, but if you ask, they will sell the items to you.

It always pays to ask.

Their mounted version will soon (¿?) become a possibility:

To give them some diversity, what about using other separate female heads in addition to the Micro Art Studio 'Conversion Lab' link ones?
Hasslefree has two sets (without hair):

Black Cat Bases link has one set, with hair.
Do someone can point to another set / sprue?
Not sure the initial absence of hair is an inconvenient, since one will have to give them a tricorne, anyway: picture picture
so it may be not very more complicated to produce 'tricorne + wig' together?

Then, for the fun of it, when it comes to painting one can 'translate' a 'page' haircut into a purple 'wig': picture

Hi Jean-louis. I added some more pics to the thread you linked at the top…

I tried to add a tricorn… its all right but not great..

I also put a picture of a maidenguard with a test paint… Forgive my limited paint skills

CaptainMathias,
All look great – the pink 'ribbon' in the back is a nice feminine touch.
Yet I'm not convinced of the necessity of the backpack: looks neither 'Guard' nor 'Maiden'…

Looking forward to discover the finished regiment!
Did you choose its flag -and 'Imagi-Nationality', btw?
