I am well aware that Hirst Arts has molds for lots of things, and that you can buy casts from several dealers . . . But this is the product I mean (select "Products" and then "Loose Stones": stonebystone.com link link Michaels and Hobby Lobby normally have them at $12 USD a bucket. However, I found a Michaels that had them on clearance for some reason. So I cleaned them out and got 6 buckets (5 of the 3/8" tiles and one of the 3/4" tiles) at $1.99 USD each!!! Just wanted to know if any of you had ever bought and used the product for making buildings and ruins. If so, please give us some of your wisdom and, perhaps, links to inspiring pictures. Thanks, Dan TMP link TMP link TMP link TMP link |

I'm almost afraid to ask. But what are you planning on building? |

could you post a picture with some of the tiles next to 28mm figures for scale comparison? |

Alfrik, I'll try tomorrow. In the meantime, keep in mind that the larger tiles are about 20mm x 20mm and the small ones are about 10mm x 10mm. Dan |

Check out the Alien terrain one of the Aussie Tac Cmd crew did with Hirst. link And follow down on the thread, you can see that I posted links to where in the US you can get pre-molded Hirst "bricks"
SF #311 & #212 sets were what he used. Very tempting

Hey Dan, There is always styrofoam to be used for building filler. Also, if you are feeling ambitious, you can cast facades of your choice in Resin and glue it to said styrofoam to lighten the load even more. Lions and tigers and pyramids
. Oh I just got stifled. In any case, I'm intrigued!
