yeap, tried 28's, moved to 15's then discovered 10's and it suits all my needs.

Ancients
ACW – hoods division is now complete (1/20th scale)
Hancocks corp will be finished in the next few weeks
Nap's british 7th division at Salamanca is sitting on the paint station awaiting officers which i will collect on saturday.

ww2 – way to much to mention.

but it is a small enough scale to get lots on the table but large enough that each individual can be identified. for ww2 we play individually based so can do anything from squad, platoon assaults up to …

Not yet but I am considering Pendraken's fantasy range for doing Pride of Lions etc. However, the fact they seem to have no photo's on their site of the range I am not sure. Does anyone know of any pics online anywhere?

hurrahbro01 Jun 2011 5:40 a.m. PST

Yes, vietnam, generic banana republic stuff, AVBCW all mainly using Blitzkrieg/cold war commander.

losart01 Jun 2011 6:08 a.m. PST

1) Fire&Fury for the ACW
2) Anticamente for the Ancients (when I don't play Impetus)
3) Colonial (different sets)

Schlesien01 Jun 2011 6:22 a.m. PST

No, but if I ever get around to Napoleon then I will.

Plan to do Ancients soon!

Would have done WW2 and Nappies in 10mm had they been available way back in the before times.

@ alien BLOODY HELL surfer:

We've got a load of pics on the Forum here: pendrakenforum.co.uk/, but if you pop me an email through, I'll see what I can dig out for you.

Medievals and Crusaders for Impetus.

And in the future Ancient Byblicals.

Happy Wargaming.

For me, obviously ANTICAMENTE for the ancient.

It is not yet very popular, but here you can find some pictures of the tournament that can be very indicative about its chances. If you think this was a tournament, try to imagine what can be done out of competition ;-)

It may become it.

Several years ago I bought some 10mm Franco-Prussian War figures at Cold Wars. It was purely an impulse buy and I never did anything with them. More recently I bought GW's Battle of Five Armies; they are currently primed and on my painting table. Time will tell if I ever finish them.

Only that GW Battle of the five armies game.

Krisanan Lertanantawong31 Jan 2013 5:37 a.m. PST

Yes. Got a dozen or so pike and shot armies, six 19th century colonials, and starting crusades too. Do only SYW in 6mm (the mass effect is an indispensable part of horse and musket for me).

Dr Mike Salwey07 Feb 2013 9:15 a.m. PST

I have a mass of the GW warmaster armies, BFA, Romans, Sarmations, we do FoW using 10mm, trial units of Napoleonics and GNW…

… but then I have much much more in 6mm!!

WeeWars16 Feb 2013 7:07 a.m. PST

Yes! 1809 Napoleonics:

Also, WW1 in the Middle East.

BrotherSevej19 Feb 2013 11:15 p.m. PST

Yes, 10mm fantasy for HOTT. 3 armies with extras. Plan to get individually based figures for compact skirmish.

Last Hussar26 Feb 2013 12:27 p.m. PST

The One True Battle scale. Everything else is (mass) skirmish.

WMF and WMA. I've used larger, just doesn't look as good

WSS – Black powder. We keep all the measurements, except use cm instead of inches, which scales down with the figures perfectly. This means a 6x4 table is equivalent to 15 x 10.

This is a 12 x 4 table

ECW. RoF states 4 men on a base. Not with 10mm

ACW.
Again, I use the bases for larger figures, so get more on.

WW2
3 men on a base are no longer in Napoleonic line.

Non 10mm is LotR, TW&T (because that's only 30 men a side) and Sharpe Practice – again fewer figures. I also have 1:300 moderns, purely because its mostly tanks, and its my first army from 1989

Emperors Choice25 Dec 2013 9:56 p.m. PST

Yes – I think it is the best scale for WWII

I would interested in attempting it for other eras.
