Finally! This one took some time to sort: link Just scroll down to the foot of the page. Thaanks are due to Simon MacDowall for agreeing to let me use his Comitatus scenario as the basis: link |

Cheers, Matt. I'm still in for a job just to the west of Sydney – if I get it, we can try some and see what happens

A C&C Ancients Chalons scenario I wrote earlier this year
link I changed two details to improve game play. While the accounts do not address where the field of battle was in relation to the Marne River, I placed it near the battle to increase tactical options during play. Caliban and Simon's field is easier to support with evidence. I also increased the proportion of cavalry the Huns fielded to increase the swirling chaos of this battle. |

That does look good. I don't know much about C&C Ancients, but Simon the Big Red Bat does. And he's working on a Late Roman army. Synchronicity, perhaps? |

Thanks. Chalons is just a bit outside the time period for C&C Ancients, but I think it makes a fine game. This scenario favors the Romans a bit as they deal out a lot of damage while contesting the ridge. As I'm in the US, I'll have to admire your work and Simon's work from afar. While I have collected both armies for Chalons, I have a great deal of painting before the miniatures version is showcased in a gaming convention near you. Robert |
