  The 2000 points games took 2-3 hours to complete  The 8000 points game took 5 hours to do 4 turns but this was down to a couple of people never having played before and a lot of air strikes and artillery which are time consuming An air strike include rolling 
 1. to see if it arrives 2. to see the deviation from target point 3. for anti-aircraft fire 4. attacks against each unit under the template 5. saves for each unit hit 6. suppression for each unit hit If you have 5 units under a template and 5 air strikes per turn and several people to interact with then that's a lot of time  And most of the time airstrikes don't do that much damage I would like to try the 8000 point game with only 2 players to see whether it would speed up or not   |
