Is it a DH offense to agree with Allen? Maybe it ought to be but From in front of the computer is actually one of Allen's more useful comments lately. Gracias, Glenn |

Well, I buy pdf's only when it is inconvenient to get a print copy. I usually buy from the vendor directly and not from a reseller like Amazon when I do buy e-rules. Basically, a more verbose version of what Allen said Dave |

Dear Ed, Please clarify. Your topic header says "ebooks", your text says "electronic format". If you mean the former, than I haven't book any, though I do acquire military history books in Kindle format. If you mean the latter, then Ganesha and Too Fat Lardies. In about the same frequency. Rick |

Allen, please note all sentences ended with non-prepositions. I would have thought a full stop would have done the job. Obviously missed the memo. |

I don't buy any books in electronic format. I'm all for the medium and I have nothing against folks who use it, I just represent the (shrinking) fraction of the market which doesn't avail themselves of that venue. |

The vast majority of my e-books come from OneBookShelf (Wargames Vault, Drive Thru RPG, RPG Now etc.) I don't tend to worry about which one I'm on. I've also bought from Crusader and Lulu. |

At present I don't buy electronic books Amazon is so cheap for most books that the cost of buying a kindle is off putting And I like the feel of paper I also find it makes it easier to flip backwards and forwards for maps etc And I'm a technological dinosaur and can't be bothered to learn how to use most machines |

"Ending a sentence with a preposition is something up with which I will not put." — Winston Churchill, pointing out the absurd silliness of certain supposed "rules" of English grammar. Clarity trumps "rules." That is the One True Rule of English grammar. All other "rules" should be tested against it. If they contribute to clarity, they are rules. If they do not, they are not. |
