Which fantasy roleplaying games do you currently play?

Warbeads19 May 2011 6:01 p.m. PST

Currently? None.

Gracias,

Glenn

The Monstrous Jake19 May 2011 6:05 p.m. PST

"The Fantasy Trip" series by Metagaming.

Truthfully, I haven't played any fantasy roleplaying games since, er, 1994 or so, but if I did, TFT would be my first choice.

MPDeputy19 May 2011 6:14 p.m. PST

None, last I played was warhammer fantasy RPG. That ended 2 years ago.

Mutant Q19 May 2011 6:20 p.m. PST

Currently Empire of the Petal Throne.

Gryffen8819 May 2011 6:32 p.m. PST

Savage Worlds- Evernight campaign.

Twilight19 May 2011 6:40 p.m. PST

Exalted, first edition.

Battle Works Studios19 May 2011 6:48 p.m. PST

Weekly D&D 4E campaign game at the local store, running about 4 months now. About all I've got time for, although sometimes I'll do the 4E Encounters program thing before the real game starts – Encounters being only tenuously roleplaying IME, more like a multiplayer tactical boardgame.

Flat Beer and Cold Pizza19 May 2011 6:48 p.m. PST

None now.

If I could find a good group I'd like to get back into some old school AD&D or perhaps Call of Cthulhu.

Agent 1319 May 2011 6:52 p.m. PST

None. Always reading the rule books though.

Privateer4hire19 May 2011 7:00 p.m. PST

4e D&D. Every other week at the FLGS.

Grand Duke Natokina19 May 2011 7:00 p.m. PST

At the mo, None.

David Miniature Armies19 May 2011 7:03 p.m. PST

When we do play rpg it's I.C.E rolemaster and spacemaster.
but haven't played for a while.

darthfozzywig19 May 2011 7:11 p.m. PST

GMing a D&D4e campaign every other week. Also GMing a WFRP1e campaign that's on temporary hiatus while I do the 4e game.

I'm about to introduce HoTT into the D&D game to resolve some large battles that are looming. As the players have no more experience with HoTT than their characters do on a mass battlefield, it should be an amusing experience. :)

A few weeks ago I ran a short Rogue Trader game, and may do some more one-off type games periodically as a break from the more involved campaigns.

Ping Pong19 May 2011 7:15 p.m. PST

GURPS Traveller
Maybe some B.A.S.H! this summer.

The Gonk19 May 2011 7:19 p.m. PST

Legends of Anglerre.

Personal logo Saber6 Supporting Member of TMP Fezian19 May 2011 7:27 p.m. PST

RazorMind19 May 2011 8:07 p.m. PST

DND 4e Once a Month

Garand19 May 2011 8:11 p.m. PST

We're doing a short break from Star Wars SAGA and playing Pathfinder. There is talk of doing a PF campaign sometime in the future. Also I'm going to run Dark Heresy over the summer…

Damon.

maxpower19 May 2011 8:14 p.m. PST

Pathfinder

Neotacha19 May 2011 8:25 p.m. PST

D&D 3.5 is our weekly game. Switching to the rotating DM campaign in a couple of weeks. Did about 9 months of Pathfinder and will go back to the baby campaign later on.

cloudcaptain19 May 2011 8:47 p.m. PST

Labyrinth Lord & Dragon Age

Space Monkey20 May 2011 3:33 a.m. PST

BRP fantasy homebrew setting on Saturday mornings with my friends' kids.
Earthdawn/Deadlands alternating on Saturday nights… with partially homebrewed rules.
Also an occasional Beatrix Potter game using BRP.

Dynaman878920 May 2011 4:06 a.m. PST

I use GURPS for nearly everything, have not played anything for 2+ years now though.

Evil Bobs Miniature Painting20 May 2011 4:11 a.m. PST

D&D 3.5

CATenWolde20 May 2011 4:18 a.m. PST

Over the past few years, very sporadically:

Labyrinth Lord (Basic D&D clone)
Castles & Crusades (AD&D 1e evolution)
Barbarians of Lemuria (best S&S system hands down)

Gearing up to play Pathfinder, however, and will keep an eye out for their new "starter set" being released this Autumn.

mweaver20 May 2011 4:21 a.m. PST

D and D 3.5 and Pathfinder (depends on which campaign we are playing at the moment)

Phil Hendry Fezian20 May 2011 4:43 a.m. PST

We've just finished a long-running WFRP2 campaign. This week we're going to try Dark Heresy.

CJArnold20 May 2011 4:47 a.m. PST

Pathfinder, and later Savage Worlds Star Wars: The Old Republic.

Personal logo 20thmaine Supporting Member of TMP20 May 2011 5:01 a.m. PST

None for a while.

Trying to put together some old school scenarios for AD&D and T&T, but not as enthused as I was back in the day

Mooseworks820 May 2011 6:12 a.m. PST

D&D 4th
GURPS
Song of Ice & Fire
Home-brewed RPG
Dragon Age

lkmjbc320 May 2011 6:20 a.m. PST

The Fantasy Trip
(Actually "Legends of the Ancient World")
a clone by darkcitygames.com

Check it out…

Also I will be doing a Castles & Crusades dungeon crawl starting next month.

Joe Collins

Landorl20 May 2011 6:42 a.m. PST

Harnmaster, but in our own setting, not the default Harn setting. (Not that the Harn setting is bad though)

SECURITY MINISTER CRITTER20 May 2011 6:42 a.m. PST

I did run a D&D game for my friends' kids.

21eRegt20 May 2011 7:07 a.m. PST

Currently none. I moved away from my old group and haven't found the motivation to:
A. Recruit a new, mature group
B. Convince them 2nd Edition is the way to go

crbeck8820 May 2011 7:12 a.m. PST

GMing D&D4e with one gaming group
GMing WFRP2e with a different gaming group

richarDISNEY20 May 2011 7:14 a.m. PST

I run a weekly 3.5 game for my wife and kids.
I also do a Pirates of the Spanish Main rpg on occasion.

My bi-weekly game is Witch Hunter: The Invisible World (LOVE this game…).
beer

mad monkey 120 May 2011 7:28 a.m. PST

Running a Savage Worlds game," Somewhere in Kossovo, 2019."

Savage Worlds is the current game system of choice. Doesn't give me brain-fry as a DM.

Who asked this joker20 May 2011 7:38 a.m. PST

None currently.

If I were to play it would be a choice of one of three…

1) Old School Whitebox clone of DnD
2) The Fantasy Trip
3) Savage Worlds

Dravi7420 May 2011 8:33 a.m. PST

Currently running Earthdawn and playing in Legends of the Five Rings (L5R).

Personal logo Sgt Slag Supporting Member of TMP20 May 2011 8:53 a.m. PST

2nd Ed. AD&D. Recruited a new player, and an old one, recently. Still love this edition. Cheers!

lugal hdan20 May 2011 8:53 a.m. PST

Currently?
D&D 4e and the new Gamma World.

Quite Recently we played:

Savage Worlds: Hellfrost
Warhammer Fantasty Roleplay

Gallowglass20 May 2011 9:28 a.m. PST

None. On reflection, I think my RPG days are probably over.

I wouldn't mind a run at a good "Call of Cthulhu" campaign again, or perhaps one more shot at the Warhammer Fantasy Rolepay "Enemy Within" campaign, though.

skippy000120 May 2011 9:49 a.m. PST

Pirates of the Carribean/Colonial Gothic/Imagi-Nation SYW mish mash, so far it's working.

CeruLucifus20 May 2011 9:53 a.m. PST

Monthly D&D 4e; DM is using Eberron campaign world.

Annually or thereabouts, usually around New Years, my high school gaming group gets together for AD&D/AD&D2.
