Hello all. I've just rediscovered all my old Donnington Miniatures Ancients. Unfortunately I need some new figures to beef up some units but have discovered that the company has been sold and does no longer accept credit card payments. To make matters worse the new owners do not want to receive postal orders from Europe either and I really do not want to use the only accepted method of payment, paypal. Can any fellow TMPer out there help? |

Give these guys a try. They had been carrying them before, but I haven't noticed of late. greathallgames.com Brookhurst might be an option too. |

By the way the new figures look great. |

Like I said, "the new owners do not want to receive postal orders from Europe either and I really do not want to use the only accepted method of payment, paypal." |

How big an order were you looking for? E-mail me on garyflack at hotmail dot com and we can probably work something out |

Hello Gary. Do you sell spare figures? Do you distribute Donnington Miniatures? I mean, I don't know who I'm dealing with
;-) |

Quebec – fair comment – hence the request to speak via hotmail but
I thought I could act as your middleman so to speak – I'll order your figures [I have no problems with paypal] and get them posted to you and you can send the money back to me [I loosely know the Donnington owner from the shows – I'm membership secretary for the Pike & Shot Society & will probaly see him at the Phalnx show mid June] – hence the request for the size order you were looking for – if it's a relatively small one human trust will be fine – if it's several hundreds of pounds that could possibly put a different complexion on the situation
:-) Anyway if you want to discuss it further can we do it off a public board
??? Thanks |

Cheers Gary for your patience and time, I will get back to you via hotmail this weekend. |

Quebec – No rush – I won't be picking up my mail till Monday morning |

Quebec – have you considered asking them to send you a paypal invoice by email – that you can pay direct by credit card – to them its paypal, to you its a credit card transaction and a number of dealers I have used have done it so I don't have to use Paypal myself. That won't help much with them not wanting to deal with Europe much but it gets round your not wanting to use paypal. |

As myrm11 says, you don't need a Paypal account to pay a Paypal invoice. There's not much point in asking for a Paypal invoice via email as you can use a credit card to make the payment anyway . |
