As voted by the members of TMP, here is the brand-new Carlist Wars board – for discussion of wargaming the Carlist Wars. |

Plynkes | 04 May 2011 12:03 a.m. PST |
Idiocy reigns. No change there, then.

Didn't the Carlist Wars take place during the (drum roll, please) 19th Century? Such a small niche topic, should be kept under the 19th Cent. area. |
kingscarbine | 04 May 2011 5:00 a.m. PST |
Surprise, surprise
It's a bit redundant. Can't see the need for this board since there's already a great Yahoo group. |
Warbeads | 04 May 2011 6:06 a.m. PST |
Many people here seem allergic to Yahoo Groups
Gracias,
Glenn |

Thus supporting Plynkes' point. Allen |
Connard Sage | 04 May 2011 7:22 a.m. PST |
Oh goody. Another board to turn off. |
ElGrego | 04 May 2011 7:40 a.m. PST |
Actually I'm going to keep this one turned on for a change. Yahoo group is here: link |

This method of organizing content was clearly popular with multiple people. TMP link |
Connard Sage | 04 May 2011 8:12 a.m. PST |
This method of organizing content was clearly popular with multiple people. Yeah, a whopping 11% of voters were in favour Democracy in action folks |
Goldwyrm | 04 May 2011 8:41 a.m. PST |
11% of votes, but not necessarily 11% of voters. One would have to assume everyone who votes in polls only does so from a single account when it is certainly possible that one person could conceivably have several accounts to vote multiple times. |
Grand Duke Natokina | 04 May 2011 8:42 a.m. PST |
I doubt will ever go to this board. But maybe someday when I'm tired of more modern things. |
RockyRusso | 04 May 2011 10:21 a.m. PST |
Hi If we have enough boards, we can spend all our time reading board titles rather than reading and posting in actual discussions! Life is so much more simple that way! Rocky |
Warbeads | 04 May 2011 1:48 p.m. PST |
Democracy (as in mob rules) may be over-rated. Let the happy minority enjoy their board. You don't like the board, don't read it. It only takes 40 people (a minority) to get a board whether the majority wants it or not. As it should be. My only request is that the default be "off" so the poorly oppressed majority doesn't have to take the precious seconds to turn it off. Maybe Bill should supply cheese for those whines too. Gracias, Glenn |

Can anyone make this stop!! What is it; every time the Perry's spit out a range, it gets a board? 11% participation indicates a yahoogroup, not a TMP board
.the humanity. |
Cardinal Hawkwood | 04 May 2011 3:34 p.m. PST |
Well that will teach me to excercise irony on the Poll Suggestiions board |
Battle Phlox | 04 May 2011 5:52 p.m. PST |
I for one will not be happy until there is a Chaco War board. ;) |
Warbeads | 04 May 2011 7:41 p.m. PST |
Only 38 more to go. Joking
Gracias, Glenn |
Oberst Radl | 04 May 2011 8:26 p.m. PST |
I suspect that not everyone who supported the Carlist Board is interested in the Carlist Wars. |

Strangely it looks like a lot of non-Carlist War gamers are posting here. :D |
Cyclops | 05 May 2011 5:25 a.m. PST |
'I suspect that Bill doesn't do irony.' Oh, I think Bill does irony very well. |
John the Greater | 05 May 2011 6:24 a.m. PST |
I for one will not be happy until there is a Chaco War board Where is the groundswell of support for a War of the Triple Alliance board? {pout} |
kingscarbine | 05 May 2011 7:52 a.m. PST |
Where is the groundswell of support for a War of the Triple Alliance board? I'll support it! And the Portuguese Civil War
And the War of Jenkins Hear? |
Old Contemptibles | 05 May 2011 3:48 p.m. PST |
So what are the three Carlist War gamers going to discuss. You have a Yahoo Group already. The three of you could discuss all the fascinating things about a conflict no one cares about on your Yahoo Group but noooo, you have to muck up TMP. |
Derek H | 05 May 2011 4:38 p.m. PST |
They'll just add to the clutter. TMP was mucked up well before they arrived. |
kingscarbine | 06 May 2011 1:54 a.m. PST |
Nag, nag, nag
Lighten up folks. There are a lot of stuff no one cares about being discussed on TMP already. |
Patrice | 06 May 2011 12:42 p.m. PST |
If they do want it, why not ? Anyway it looks good for a start: So what scale are you playing Carlist wars in? In 15mm Warmodelling 28mm Perry Miniatures What's available in 20mm, preferrably plastic ? |
12345678 | 10 May 2011 1:00 p.m. PST |
Cool, a Carlist Wars board! I have 15mm First Carlist Wars armies, which are mostly Warmodelling with a few AB thrown in. Colin |
Durando | 11 May 2011 1:36 a.m. PST |
Guys please don`t forget the Carlist wars Yahoo group I run. Thanks, Geoff |
