Oh yeah, I went there. link If you're coming to Kublacon, be sure to check it out. We're playing Friday evening. This is not a registered game so we will set up wherever there is space (hopefully in the miniatures room). There will be mounts for a minimum of 12 riders. CGC and friends get preference for spots, but it should be a hoot to watch even if you don't get to ride in the race. Cheers! - Rod |

That sounds impressively manic. I had no idea bantha dung was so flammable. |

If Tatooine is a desert planet , how does it have oxygen in its atmosphere ? ( no trees ) |

That's above my pay grade GD. You'll have to ask Lucas that one. And yes, it was riotously fun BWS! I'm looking forward to the convention game where we'll have at least a dozen racers and lots of scatological punnery! :) - Rod |

Looks like fun! But
I am running a game on Friday night too, or else I'd be there. I might drop off some beer for you Rod

Dagnabit Richard, I was hoping you could play! Regardless, it will be good to catch up! :D No worries though, I'm sure it will appear at least annually on the club's game roster. Beer is always welcome! Are you home brewing now? - Rod |

If Tatooine is a desert planet , how does it have oxygen in its atmosphere ? ( no trees ) Is it hard to walk with that stick so far up your butt? Can you even bend over? |

The issue of Tatooine being a desert planet is the same as Earth being an ocean planet
generalities. That and it is a science fantasy setting :) Tatooine is more desert than Earth is ocean but I suspect Lucus was inspired by Mars. But it is established that Tatooine was covered in oceans and lush forests/jungles at one point so I suspect that plants have adapted where able to fill niches that were available
just under the sands, shadow filled zones like canyons, caves, etc. Only a small part of Tatooine is habitable by the general public, Jawas and Tuskens push past this restrictive zone (one would also suspect that other desert types may have migrated or been left behind and made a home there in the deep dry also). For the world to still function it would still need to breathe, and thus there must be flora and fauna to provide the gears and cogs. There are the Mists
these cool vapors rise at night and then escape to hidden locations throughout the vast deserts
so there are moisture cashes and thus it would only make sense that there would be plants and animals to exploit and utilize the same. Fun stuff! ***** On topic, any thoughts of including other animal types in the races or including a bantha or two in an open race with other animals? |

Nope. Not a one. The basic rules would work for a variety of racing beasts though. I am not sure if one could justify all the pooping without the banthas though. Then again, I'm not sure I can justify it with them. :) I ran it at Kublacon over the weekend, where it got a lot of attention and laughs in spite of being in the back corner of the open gaming room. I think it will be a con staple for me for a few years. It's easy to run, plays very quickly, has a lot of visual appeal, and the entertainment/laugh factor is high. Shame I can't publish it
Cheers! - Rod |

Different creatures
everyone poops! Different colors, different reactions, and different effects. White poo pile if stepped on causes slippage and a potential loss of control? :) |

A fun read. I love your comic-style and often use it myself in game reports. Ted |
