60mm x 30mm 25mm x 20mm 40mm x 20mm 30mm x 30mm 60mm x 60mm 20mm x 20mm 3" x 3" Where rules do not specify a standard base size please let me know what size you have adopted. Michael. |

60 x 60 mm 40 x 40 mm I also use them (with metal glued on top) as sabots for my 25 mm armies * with individuals mounted on 25 x 50 rectangles, 20/25/30 round or 3/4 inch square bases with magnetic media on the bottom. Individual based skirmish figures on small bingo ships. Gracias,
Glenn * Other sizes for exotic figures (pony mounted hobilars for smaller fantasy races as an example) but I really don't don't use very many of those sizes so I won't list them as not being germane to the question. |

60 x 30 for my Naps (polomos) & 30 x 30 for the rest (FWC/BKC) – except where the panthers and tigers don't fit when I go for 30 x 40. |

I used to use 40x20mm bases for warmaster and DBA and CCA. I then moved to 80x40mm bases for foot and 80x80mm bases for other units. Gives the troops more of a mass feel without hassling with magnetic sabots. |

I use 40 x 20 for almost everything I do, be it WWII to Sci-fi. I find the base size looks the best, and I just adjust the rules to fit if needed :) Cheers, Paul hobbybrush.com |

WWII -- 1"x1", they can fit across bridges and turn sideways in towns, roads, etc. Ancients -- standard DBx bases for 15mm or 25mm: 40mm x 15-40mm 60mm x 20-60mm |

I generally go for 30x30, same as my 15mm stuff. Horse & Musket I tend to do on 30x15 or 30x20. I pay no attention to what rules say I should do, you can usually work around basing rstriction by fiddling with the ground scale and/or using sabots or whatever. |

40x20 for everything except artillery which I put on 40x40 bases. |

Depends on the rules – 20mmx20mm for my modern infantry (don't base vehicles), 60x30 or 60x60 for my GNW and Napoleonic and I'm thinking of doing ACW on 20x15. |

For my 6mm sci-fi I use Dirt Side bases for my infantry from GZG. For scout vehicles I mount 2 on a 40x40mm base. For the rest of my vehicles I try to not have the base stick out more than 1cm beyond the edge of the vehicle. My girlfriend has a wood workshop in her backyard and she cuts me the base sizes I ask for. She also loves the games. |

40x30 for March Attack, and because it leaves room for dead, wounded and skirmishers! |
