Hello to all of you Terminator gamers here on the miniatures page. As a few of you are aware about 2 months ago i started to recreate the terminator future wars in 15mm scale. Well my labour of love is starting to near completion and minus a few vehicles on both sides plus more scenery as the table will be twice the size once finished its pleasingly close to what i enviseged. All scenery is scratch made and i would like to start a ongoing topic as there are terminator gamers here but not nearly enough correspondance between you all. Here is a link to all my pics link for photos And to join the Flickr group please click link please post your thoughts and share photos/rules of your own wars against the machines of Skynet. |

Looks good. Is the HK a kit/model or a die cast toy? |

Hi all the HK is a terminator salvation toy from Amazon. Cost me about £25.00 GBP with P&P. As for rules im creating a custom set which im about halfway through doing. Pics of close ups have now been added. I see the resistance are looking dark but this was intended. The paint scheme was grey with a dark wash so appologies if the detail is hard to see Gunner. |

Looks good. Especially like the extra touch using the burned out cars. How did you do that? I have the same Terminators with partial skin too. Not sure how to use them as a unit in a game since it appears they would act individually. I have used Fubar. It worked very well. The most effective weapon I had to use against the machines were my Apache Helo's. Thanks, John |

Hi John the cars were ordered from virtual village and then just given a black wash. |

I like it, I also made the Foam board buildings for my Terminator board. link My guys are in 28mm I was also able to get those HK Tanks from the first movie. Go to GZG for some more primitive looking robots with guns, I use them as fist gen. Terminators. look at the 6mm Mech's |

Hey Inari I have added you on Flickr. Do you have any pics of yours ? Also what rules do you use ? |
| Inari7 | 08 Apr 2011 1:44 p.m. PST |
I just uploaded some more. link I used the Warengine rule system My conversions came out pretty cool if I say so myself :) The Arnold/Term destroyed an entire squad all by himself. I guesss I will have to take some pictures of the Charactes, they came out pretty cool too. Give me an hour. |

Thanks for all your comments and thoughts so far everyone it's my first attempts at wargaming again after like 15 years lol. But I'm really a huge fan of the Terminator and I hope it shows in my work . I really think custom rules are best although I do have modified stargrunt ones from a fellow term fan. Does anyone here know any of the members that ran any of the old Yahoo groups of wargaming the terminator ? I know two members were called Mohawky and a general guy from other topics but my attempts to contact them have failed. Also ones called Terminator
. All I can hope is that one of them picks this up. Inari I look forward to seeing more of your work. I notice a lit of you gaming this don't have the luxury of grey terrain matts or squares. I used paper scenic matts from railway scenics for £4.00 GBP each. Anyway keep it coming guys and spread the word please. Thanks |

For my terrain mats I just use fabric, the green is a wool army blanket, but I use black fabric for that burnt ground look. For rules I like Warengine/Shockforce. They give a great game and you can make your characters as good or bad as you need them to be. You can make your termies as tough or weak as you think they should be. You can give them one attack or ten. The point system and character customization system is also very good. The best thing is that they are free. |

Doug, I really love your stuff! What are you using for the bases of your building ruins? MDF? I forgot about that Gzg VTOL. It actually looks good with the 28mm figs. I use the Copplestone/EM-4 Jungle troopers and Scav's as my Resistance. I think your characters are cool too. I need some ruins for both my 15mm and 28mm Man vs Machine games. The Warengine IS a really good rule set. Been playing it since Shockforce 1st edition. If they ever come up with something more than light vehicles I might actually go back to using them. Otherwise, you are pretty much stuck with mainly infantry actions. Thanks, John |

Inari the custom terminator is sick. Its a shame that although 15mm is a great easy scale it doesnt show as much detail as 28mm but hey its all good. John the foamboard is so easy to use and makes for great ruins. As for rules where can i find them ? Can anyone post a link ? |

Also Inari could you do a more frontal pic of Cameron and John ? How would you guys fancy doing a terminator only Yahoo group ? We could create custom rules, And share ideas and stuff ? ALso does anyone fancy starting it as Yahoo is new to me lol. Let me know your thoughts anyway. |

@ John the bases are made from water color canvas from an art store. I figured there would be less warping. I glued Kitty litter around the base and next to the walls, spary painted black, dry brushed grey. BTW paint exposed foam with acrilic paint before spary painting. I made all those ruins in a day. Imagine if I took my time :) 3rd edition of Warengine is in the works BTW. @ Davea Cameron and John were hard to photograph, those were the best I could get. Not much to see, they are just painted black, some small details painted like ammo packs/guns ect.. then lightly dry brushed. |
