This may be of interest, especially bearing in mind the new Empress Miniatures figures coming out soon, which depict participants in the wars that broke out in the same area five years later.

Timely posting of those photos.

The Waitangi Treaty Grounds, with its outstanding view of the Bay of Islands, is one of the most scenic locations I've encountered.

So the Euro uniforms are not so good, but the Maori are done well. They do look well turned out.

I have wanted to move to NZ since I saw Utu, but my wife says they do not let obese people in :(
