Surely i saw a prototype of an SA-2 (from O8?)and i am longing for those and an SA-6. Surely with armoured gamers and air gamers in the market for them, producing these is a double whammy…yet where are they? Please…

Lots of us are waiting. I have not seen them being produced. FWIW if you are doing an aircombat game Fights On makes a SAM site token which looks pretty good.

Magister Militum do some nice ones in 1/1200

Works OK with 1/600 planes when you look down on top of the table and planes

Kabrank: Thats what i was thinking of using. 1/1200 ones would be better (for me) to represent the altitude of the aircraft compared to ground targets.

Still waiting myself, since I am using 1/600 for combined arms games, I prefer having the SAM's in scale.

I might look again at Magister Militum at Salute. They could do as a stop gap, but the Holy Grail is 1:600!

My company makes a 'that looks about right-scale' SA-2 site.

We sell these for 1/300 & 1/600 aircombat games.

I've given up on them, as on the F-22's, Su-37MK's, the Rafale, and the new Russian Stealth Fighter, etc.

1/300th seems to be the way forward for those.

I bought 1/300 from CinC. SA-2, SA-3 and SA-6 to use with my 1/600 aircraft. Funny how attacking players notice them when I put out on the table (smile).

I would like to see them in 1/600. Same as Dan though I have 1/300th markers which scare the players as well as the Fight's on SAM bases from Rob which give a good impression.

a Couple of 1/600th on a base would be more appealing possibly but will have to wait and see.

Marcin did a good (from my opinion) master but chose not to cast it for some reason and we still keep asking for one Pity.

I knew i'd seen one. What a shame!

When the discussion came up on the 1/600 Yahoogroup (I think last fall?) I made an SA-2 master…

…that anyone interested in is welcome to.

A very nice looking missile.

I hope someone will take you up on your offer, and put it into production.

I'd love to see some SA-3's and SA-5, too, amongst others.

Budrou27 Mar 2014 5:23 p.m. PST

That's great gweirda. Really want to see that made.

Mako1128 Mar 2014 6:01 p.m. PST

SA-2s are available from OO, through Pico, if you are in the USA.

They are very nice (sold in sets of 6, I think), and include a radar van too.

Recommended.

Sadly, no SA-3s through SA-6s, HAWKs, Bloodhounds, Rapiers, Nikes, BOMARCS, or others I'd like to see as well, though.
