Death Dealer Dark Kingdom The Mammoth Moon Maid Frost Giants Daughter The Barbarian The Silver Warrior God I love his work |
Grey Ronin | 19 Mar 2011 8:54 p.m. PST |
I think IF I had to vote on ONE image it would be the Barbarian: picture encompasses all of the themes; sword and scorcery, voluptuous maidens, brooding hero and it really caaught the essence of the novel it was done for. |

His art is good but a bit "out there" for me. I prefer someone like Angus McBride . |

oooh that takes me back.. just too many good ones to pick from. Angus McBride and Simon Bisley are very good too. |

My favorite (way back when) was the John Carter, Warlord of Mars, with the upraised arm, planets and moon in the background, a barely clad Deja next to Carter. picture (probably NSFW). Rob |

I'd take the tissues Frank Frazetta used to clean his sharpened pencils with and enshrine them. The man was a cultural treasure. Of the pictures shown, I kinda like "Space Attack" and "The Silver Warrior". |

Women have a shape now. It's straight up and down, with a few small angles where bones stick out. |

I'd have to go for the cover to "Fighting Man of Mars" from the Science Fiction Book Club covers of the early 70's |

"Savage Pellucidar" was always on of my favourites! |

Always and forever, my favourite is "The Barbarian". link First saw it on the cover of a release of REH's Conan stories, and firmly imprinted the image of Conan in my mind. |

The one that got me to like his artwork was Egyptian Queen, but Silver Warrior is a favourite. |

All of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've never seen one I didn't like. |

His work always had a sense of motion and something impending . even the ones whee the subject is just standing . Very few if any artists do that today . I would be hard prsees for a favorite. But I did love his movie Fire and ice , his paintings moved . |

Death Dealer for me too. I even read the novels. |

For some reason the one that always come to mind for me is Spiderman: link I'd say if you want the most iconic Frazetta image though, it's probably Thuvia Maid of Mars or possibly Savage Pellucidar. Now for those of you posting er, reference images for sculpting miniatures of frontally unclad voluptuous women, let's not forget (all definitely NSFW): Countess link Playboy link Cat Girl link Moon Rider link Princess and the Panther link |
