I recently got some nice plastic palm trees sent to me, but the fronds got a little squashed in the box they were shipped in (and the packaging in a culprit no doubt too) and wondered if there was anything I could do to help shape them a bit. I figured a hair dryer might help, but a heat gun was a no no. Hopefully someone has had some experience with this and can add some input. -B6 |

Hot and cold water works for me. |

To elaborate on what Dark Knights And Bloody Dawns said: heat them by dipping in hot water (near boiling is best -- be careful!!!), then shape, hold, and plunge in cold water to "set" them in position. Not foolproof, but it typically works well enough. Cheers! |
