Excuse my ignorance if this topic has already been beaten to death.

I've just gotten back from Cold Wars with several bags of the Old Glory Maori Wars figures. I have the Osprey book on Maori fortifications, but otherwise have no reference material on the conflicts.

I am initially looking for websites or books that would help me to paint the figures in reasonably realistic color schemes.

My secondary goal would be similar recommendations for orders of battle and battle descriptions.

Thank you,
Ed

The Osprey book is what I used for it.
Some gamer in NZ had a colonial game site devoted to this but I can't remember His name.

If you need reinforcements….Empress miniatures just announced a Maori Wars range on Lead Adventure Forum. All done by the Master Hicks :)

Holy heck, that is interesting news for me, Travellera … thanks for the heads-up.
