Yup. Martin is building a fine selection of looters, drunks and angry locals, such as these:
And this:

I've added some more angry locals. This time the Loyal Haverfordwest Volunteer Infantry:

I forgot to add that the Haverfordwest Volunteers are made from the excellent Canadian Sedentary Miltiai from Knuckleduster Miniatures' War of 1812 range. |

Welcome to Pembrokeshire Coast National Park:
As can be seen; one young visitor to our game thought that the French invasion wasn't enough! Personally I think that this is the inevitable consequence of too much seal conservation

What a wonderful project! Enthusiasm for a subject always produces great results. |

Thanks Mal,that's very kind. Here are some more photos from our recent trial run of the game at the Fishguard Festival: Overview of the battle: In this version of reality, the French have refused to accept Cawdor's demands for an unconditional surrender, so Cawdor orders a general attack on the French position on the heights between Goodwick and Manorowen:
Jemima Nicholas brings in a prisoner, followed by some refugees:
The pubs of Fishguard empty out:
A Yeoman goes on the pull in Fishguard:
The Royal Navy opens up:
Lord Cawdor orders the line forward:
The Solva and St Davids Volunteers get stuck into French foragers:
The French know how to party. There ain't no sheep safe tonight:
That said, having seen the local Welsh mob approaching, some of the local 'girls' decide to take their chances with the French
The game still needs a lot of work, but we'll be taking it round the UK shows in 2012. |

Mark, Those pike and axe armed 'pub fighters' are fantastic. Where did you get those figures? They might be really useful for a 1798 Ireland scenario as well! |
| Jemima Fawr | 25 Aug 2011 4:09 a.m. PST |
That's the plan! The figures are (male and female) Perry ACW rioters and Redoubt French & Indian Wars civilians, converted with packs of improvised mediaeval weapons from Redoubt and leftover plastic bits from Victrix Napoleonics. They were converted by Martin with quite a lot of greenstuff. |

Excellent R Mark, just stumbled across your update. I really hope I can get to the Penarth show to see them for real! |

Such a wonderful and unique idea for a game. It looks amazing and your conversions are great. The amount of time and effort is all well worth it. |

RMD – If Martin has run out of conversions to do, have a look at the Brigade Games "Napoleoni in Egypt" range – they've just brought out some French "savants" which have endless potential for both civilian and military characters. |

Cheers SM. I'll have a look. |
