Over the past few months I have been developing a portable wargame based around a chessboard and an adaptation of Joseph Morschauser's 'Frontier' and 'Musket' wargames rules. I have just added the latest play-test battle report to my blog ( link ). It is a clash between Austian and Prussian forces in the late 1860s. The battle report can be found at the following link . If you want to follow the whole story of the development of my portable wargame up-to-date, use the following link . |

Very interesting, Bob. I was Morschauser's book that was my foirst entry to the hobby way back in the 1960's! |

Very nice report and quite a nice way to organize a battle with limited spatial resources. |
