Crazy Al has lost focus once again and I am now interested in doing Breitenfeld using Irregulars 2mm figures. Prefer a fast play set of rules. Not sure I would like DBR. Cant explain why but the way the bases align in DBA bugs me. Have heard of Principles of War and Piquet but know little about them. If you recommend a set of rules please tell me what base sizes are and what level unit each base represents. Again, please stick to fast play rules in your recommendations.

Thanks,

Al

Mad Monkey has a fine choice there.

You could try adapting this board game.

Very similar to the 30 years war quad system by SPI but with a random turn order and "better" morale rules.

I have used Age of gunpowder for the TYW in 6mm. I liked it. however, I completely ignore Chipco's army suggestions. I assign each stand to reflect a certain strength and go from there with historical OB's. I ran Lutzen and a few other battles with them.

Thanks,

John
