Will you be buying any? And if so, how are you most likely to use it? link Is this more novel than other home mold making set ups? |

Ordered mine a week ago. Be handy for base inserts and those rare special weapons and possibly those plastic multi part bits you really like but never seem to get enough of

I bought two packets from CMON the day the news came out and the package arrived in the mail yesterday. I have access to RTV rubber and that other reusable melting vinyl compound but nevertheless look forward to trying this new product based on its anticipated ease of use. Cheers, Richard |

I bought some. I'll probably be using it for repetitive parts of sculpts that need to stay consistent. Helmets and such. I'll be trying a few face molds also. Rod |

As Frothers pointed out, this is not new (sold as Friendly Plastic), and you're paying way more than you need to purchasing it from CMON: link In the US, direct from Amaco, or from numerous art (such as Dick Blick) and crafts vendors: link Allen |

I got mine Thursday but have not had a chance to use it. |

I plan on trying the cheaper friendly plastic route, and I have also ordered a trial size of Composimold, the stuff you heat in the micro wave then pour like RVT, good for metal bits, but limited on plastic and resin, I think unless someone has some experience. Link to Composimold: link |

I thought this was different as nothing will stick to it, not even super glue

It might be Friendly Plastic, but Friendly Plastic's PDF says that you can use super glue and two part epoxies on it, and that lubricant and release agents can be used because it's sticky, so I not convinced it the same stuff, might be though, we need some tests |

Mine arrived this morning. Have tried to recreate some cobblestones for a base insert and seems to be working
