Nice scenario, but I think there would be a number Native Indian allies for the Spanish (at least as scouts).

Good point. As soon as I paint a unit of Native Americans, I'll replace one of the militia units.

One of the first games playtesting Irregular Wars: Conflict at the World's End irregularwars.blogspot.com was based on Clifford's assault on San Juan.

Fascinating campaign, but unfortunately (at least the way we played it) a bit too much of a one sided affair to make for a suspense filled game. I'd like to run it again with slightly different orders of battle.
