Does any one have any images of thier franco prussian range? I know there are some on the site but they are not too clear to me. I carnt decide to do the Franco-Prussian war in 28mm or 20mm, I have some Foundry Prussians to paint but they are pricing themselves out of what Imprepared to pay for thier figures when I need more.

Battle Honors also makes FPW figs in 25mm. A number of manufacturers are also releasing sets in 1/72 plastic. I know I haven't answered your question, but I'm not sure if you are aware that there is a little more variety out there for you to look at.

I have some of that range. The figs are nicely detailed although somewhat chunky. I am doing 1866 and 1870 in 20mm. I bought B&B Bavarians and Prussian Command, Jaegers and some other items. I really like them. I am also using Emhar French, Prussians along with Waterloo 1815 Austrians and Hat WWI Early French. You can also use the Hat WWI Jaegers for the FPW. Artillery in plastic will soon be available from Strelets. They are releasing 1877 RTW Russian and Turkish Krupp guns.

Thanks,

John

/i like the look of the Battle Honours figs but the postage cost to the UK put me off.
I have been looking at the plastic figures too and got some Zvezda WW1 germans to see if I can convert them.

I know this is an old thread but I thought it worth adding that Irregular Miniatures do a nice range of 20mm figs for 1866/70
