Good stuff!

What will be the major differences between 1st and 2nd editions? Just curious – never played it …

Hi John, the game was great. It was only our second time trying out the squad level rules for my Din of Battle 2nd edition.

@Flashman14 – The major differences will be 3 game scales: Battalion, Company, and Squad where the scale represents the normal size infantry unit. Also there will be more specific Campaign Musters, more period specific stratagems, more rules around mounted and dismounted cavalry. Updated card definitions to match with the period a little more.

Hope that helps,
Eric

Since din of battle 1 is unavailable, when will the 2nd edition be out?

DinOfBattle208 Jan 2011 8:34 a.m. PST

Hmmm… I didn't know DoB1 had sold out.

DoB2 won't be ready until mid-year I would think. it takes a lot of work to write published rules.

@raylev3, I do too. Great buildings! If they do get back in business, I'm going to grab their European line of buildings.

When will this be available? I have the master rules down and am eager to get started!

Oberst,

DoB2 will be ready by July. I'm hoping to have it sooner. It is a ton of work, but I'm nearing the final proofing.
