I was in Micheals today and found in the dollar racks two wooden house "puzzles". They are from from a company called Creatology, they are called Villa, and Ranch House. I bought one of each to see the scale of them and took a couple of pics. link link link Now these were just stuck togeather without glue or anything to see the size of them. I am going to add some faux fur to the roofs and add some card trim the the lined areas for boards and window frames. and paint it up tomorrow if I can swing it. But I am going to pick up a few more. Note – on the villa it can be made with the "tower" or not. |

Nice! I haven't seen those two before, I have a haunted house type one that will work for any sort of American gothic house once painted, plus a number of others. Chris |

Are these actually closer to HO scale? Looks like they might fit in well with Flames of War? |

Ooooh, neat-o. I think I may be heading down there in the morning! |

"Are these actually closer to HO scale? Looks like they might fit in well with Flames of War?" I doubt it since he stated that the mini's were from GW so we are talking about some fairly large buildings. Flames of War is 15mm and these buildings are 4-5 inches tall. Far to big for FoW. |

I don't have any flames of war but I do have a few 15mm troops. link link I guess depending on how you paint and convert them you could use them for 15mm. But they would look oddly large with other commercial products I have seen. |

Most excellent! Those wood puzzle kits can be quite handy indeed; I have several of the "Ancient Sailing Ship" or some such that was a Bao Chuan (Ming Dynasty "Treasure Ship") that converted instantly into a 28mm Far Eastern pirate junk.. Looks like it's time to go looting and pillaging the Michael's down on Preston Road again

The door and window heights actually look more to scale with 15mm. |
