Which game (or rules system if you prefer) did you play the most in 2010?

For me it was definitely Check Your 6.

About equal between Polemos Napoleonics and Neil Thomas' "Simplicity in Practice".

Song of Blades and Heroes.

Battleground.

Playtesting my own sci-fi rules has been about the only mini game I've played this year.

The single most common one is probably OP14 by Richard Brooks (operational WW1 – army level).

Probably D&D 4E, which is sad because we only met 10 times, which says something about how little I game nowadays.

Full thrust , best space ship game .

D&D Pathfinder, about a dozen sessions this year. We just don't get to game that often, humdrum of daily life just gets in the way far too much.

Field of Battle and FUBAR were about equal.

Warrior Kings, 4 times. Did not play much else FTF this year, other than a single game of Warmaster Ancients.

Canvas eagles

Definitely Song of Blades and Heroes – with Flying Lead, Warhammer: Invasion and Full Thrust coming in as runner-ups.

Column, Line and Square and TSATF. Both are long time favorites, and they would probably have ranked as my top two in any year for the last 20 or so.

The interesting thing is that I did more experimenting with other rulesets this year than any in recent memory: British Grenadier, Guns at Gettysburg, Terrible Sharp Sword, and Songs of Drums and Shakos.

Minis – probably Hordes/War Machine, which has seen a resurgence locally. RPGs have been mostly D&D 4E courtesy of their Encounters program.

I only played one game this whole year. Battletech. how sad is that.

Some other small games using modified Warhammer basics.

Oh and a couple of Axis & Allies D-Day games.

Father Tilly, CY6 and Ambush Alley, were my top three rule sets played.

Giant Monster Rampage 3rd edition for me.

I usually use it to playtest any new Toy Battle System games against.
