Dave,

I am going to do this scenario in FoB. Would you make the buyin for Burnside around 7 impetus in FoB? I can translate the troop quality, leader quality and deck quality easily.

Looks very good to me. Nice use of Battle Chronicler, by the way.

Jeff, impetus for Field Of Battle is based on die command difference, right? I usually play more Piquet than FOB, so I forget.

The impetus cost for Burnside should be somewhere near the high range of what the Union might get. So if the maximum potential impetus is 10, I would say 6-7 is a good number.

AP Hill should be cheap. Maybe 2 Impetus.

That was my thought. It is likely that the largest difference is around 12. I cannot remember if the top commander is a D12 or D12+1. I figure that having to give up 7 impetus to get a bad general into the game will give the CiC a moment of thought. It will probably depend on what situation his other troops are in at the moment. Usually in FoB you base entry of unit on number of movement cards rather than turns do you see any problem with this? Things move much quicker in FoB with the variable movement. Most of the games last 3-4 turns in total. Since things get to blows much quicker.

Burnside should be available halfway through the game. If there are three Move cards per turn, maybe after 6 Moves. Hill should be available three quarters of the way through the game.

Rosters for the battle and a QRS sheet are available in the Hallowed Ground folder of the Files section of the Piquet Yahoo group.
