Is there a specific conflict, period, army you are waiting for affordable 28mm plastic minis to be made for before you start collecting to game it?

For me its 28mm Napoleonic Prussians and Jacobite Highlanders.

No. Got more than I can get done in this life time as it is.

War of Jenkin's Ear.

I am waiting for WF Persian Infantry and Cavalry that are due soon (and possibly also Immortal, later).

Martin Rapier03 Dec 2010 3:29 a.m. PST

No. Had a brief flirtation with 28s (Colonial) but then decided it was far too large a scale for the sorts of games I like to do and how much time I want to spend painting stuff and how much storage space I have.

I am waiting for the 28mm Germans from the Plastic Wargames Company!

TodCreasey03 Dec 2010 6:24 a.m. PST

If you count it as a period battles involving the Prussians and Austrians in the late Napoleonic wars.

I am waiting for 28mm Americans for the War of 1812.

Beowulf Fezian03 Dec 2010 7:10 a.m. PST

Samurai, preferably by the Perry twins.

Plastic ashigaru would tip me over into 28mm samurai. I am convinced they would sell like hotcakes.

Scorpio03 Dec 2010 8:24 a.m. PST

Nope, but eager to see what comes out for WWII.

Nuttin'.
Its not that I don't like plastics, I do, but there is nothing I am now waiting for since Mantic did their Nazi Zombies a few months ago.

Maybe 28mm WW2 tanks?

I agree. 15mm samurai are my largest collection in 15mm but I have never taken the plunge into 28mm. Plastics would change that! WF does seem to be working on some.

Hopefully the Perrys can be convinced of their viability as well.

tigrifsgt03 Dec 2010 5:42 p.m. PST

Hundred Years War. I need mounted knights from both sides. I figured the WOTR archers from WF would work out for the English. There isn't enough mounted plastic at this point to really delve deep into any medieval conflict.

Want to add wagons for Medievals and limbers for Napoleonics, however in metal they would be too heavy.
