This has been up for ten minutes without someone making sarcastic hate comments? Guess folks are sleeping in. |

1) They bring out new, expensive books that give you better, cheaper lists than the nasty old ones you paid a bunch for last year. 2) In their new, expensive books, they include stupid typos to keep us amused. 3) The price rises for individual packs are really kewl. 4) They get rid of old army boxes, and good riddance! 5) They redo lists with no historical justification (21st Pz.Div. StuG Kp.) so you get to buy additional stuff. 6) The BF "experts" like to argue with the people who actually know things about organization or camouflage; it keeps us entertained. 7) You don't have to play tournaments. Sort of like you don't have to drill into your own kneecaps. 8) They don't bother with things like the Pacific and CBI theater that nobody would be interested in. 9) They have really kewl superhero characters that make 40K ones look like wimps. 10) They don't stick with a dull, consistent sculpting style (or scale, for that matter), but make sure to mix things up with every new release to keep you interested. |

"This has been up for ten minutes without someone making sarcastic hate comments? Guess folks are sleeping in." Nope, just being rilly, rilly positive. See? |

Ten minutes? That was quite a list that Allne typed up. It would take me at least 15 to think everything up, and then go back and fix my typos. IT'S JUST A DAMN GAME!!!!!!!! For crying out loud, People. Get a life and play what you like. If it ain't this one, then play sopmething else!!!! |

Allen I think you got the wrong thread. The other one was what I dont like about FOW <VBG>. |

It would take me at least 15 to think everything up, and then go back and fix my typos Amateurs. If this had been a GW list, the haters would have their comments up in a flash. They bind hate-macros to hotkeys, you see. |

I agree with #9 on the list, I love the complete units in a box. I absolutely hate having to piece together units, especially in a period that I enjoy but aren't a fanatic about. |

Thing I like about FoW: I can go to my local store and actually get a game, not like those other, superior rules

I rather like the platoon blisters and some of the added bits in the company and artillery HQ blister packs. although the lack of radios or field telephones for the German FOO teams is annoying. What are they supposed to do? Shout corrections to the battery? |
LHMGKodiak | 28 Nov 2010 2:01 p.m. PST |
Thats one of the things I like about Eureka Miniatures. I can piece together a unit with a minimum of waste as I can by small packs of figures and they have hand held radios. I am doing a Ghurka company with their figures and all the command teams and artillery observers have radios. |

I got a pack of BF American 105mm howitzers. 8 out of 20 crew had radios. These were the gun loaders! So, I complained to BF Amrican Domination Headquarters, and they very nicely sent me another pack of 105mm howitzers. With 8 more radiomen

" So you received 12 non-radiomen, which completes your original howitzers. Feel free to send me the extra howitzers, and all the radiomen; I can use them. Allen |

That is one of the things I really like too is the books. Especially the new ones. They have great pictures, articles on the subject, the historical profiles of the military heroes, the painting guides, the graphics for the OB tree's, etc, etc. |
