Hi all, Some time ago, it was submitted a request to Eureka Miniatures, under their P300 custom requests program. The set would consist of a full set of 15mm WWII Soviet military women in fighting poses ( TMP link ). I've been just acknowledged that, after all this time, the project is at 50% of what is required to make them, with 342 minis requested so far
so that, after a little discussion with Nic Robson, we agreed to make the thing start moving in spite of its current status -although it is likely that I must pay extra for at least part of sculpting costs, in the end. According to Nic words, the figures will be sculpted by Kosta Hersitanidis and will be AUD$0.80 each, consisting of the following references: - 300WWY400 WW2 Russian female combat infantry with rifle (4 variants) - 300WWY401 WW2 Russian female combat infantry with SMG (4 variants) - 300WWY402 WW2 Russian female combat infantry sniper, kneeling (1 variant) - 300WWY403 WW2 Russian female combat infantry officer (2 variants) So that this range will be for sure on the workbench soon. To all those initially skeptical albeit potentially interested, this is the time for you to add your own submissions to the starting order -so that my own extra expenses can be minimized even a bit! :S Cheers, Lluís Catalonia, Spain |

That's a shame. Mike Broadbent has done outstanding work on Eureka's other 15mm WWII selections. Looking at some of this other gentleman's 28mm work
well, no advance sale here, I'm afraid. And I could work in some Soviet females, happily. Perhaps when we can see the end product? Allen |

Thanks for your majestic magnanimity, Sir. I guess this is what you wished to be answered. |

Must say that I disagree with you here, Allen: in general I like K's 28mm work. I do agree with you that Mike Broadbent's work is superb: I just like K's as well. I have made a pre-order for just over a platoon's worth of "Olga"s and shall be re-watching "Cross of Iron" and "Enemy at the Gates" for painting tips! I've often thought I'd like to have Rachel Weisz on my painting table
especially as I understand that she's newly single! R |

I would be interested, but would want to see the figures before committing. I don't paint what I don't like. |
